Tony James Johnson, age 66 of Waukegan passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Elevate Care Waukegan. He was born February 2, 1955 in Tuskegee, Alabama to the union of James Thomas Johnson, Sr. and Mary Lillian Talbert. Tony has been a lifelong area resident living at Fort Sheridan, Waukegan and North Chicago. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include 2 sisters Jacqueline Bran of Brooklyn, New York and Yvonne Leek of North Chicago and a brother Bertram Johnson of Waukegan and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Thomas and Mary Lillian Johnson, Sr. and 2 brothers Grover Johnson and James T. Johnson, Jr.

Graveside Service and Military Honors Wednesday, June 30, 2021 10:00 A.M. at Fort Sheridan Cemetery, Highwood.
