Susan Diane (Freeston) McAtee

Susan Diane McAtee, 70, of Ingleside, IL, passed away November 30, 2020 on her 31st wedding anniversary, she was born June 23, 1950 in Chicago, IL, and was the oldest of two children born to the union of Donald and Wanda Freeston.

Susan was survived by her husband of 31 years William Ronald McAtee of Ingleside, IL, her daughters; the late Laura (John) Owens of Watseka, IL, and Tracy (Kevin) Waldenstrom of Grayslake, IL, her 7 grandchildren; Michael, Kyle, Kayin, Jacob, and Adam Owens, Ethan and Grace Waldenstrom, preceded in death by her parents Donald Freeston and Wanda Lustyk, her daughter; Laura Owens, and her brother; Michael Freeston.

Visitation will be held 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL  60030 interment will be held private at a Ft. Sheridan Cemetery, Ft. Sheridan, IL, for additional information please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080.
