Soledad Rios Centenos

Soledad Rios Centenos age 92 of Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico formerly of Highwood, Illinois passed away on July 17, 2022 in Apaseo el Alto where he was born on April 17, 1930. He lived in Mexico and worked as a policeman until he immigrated to Highwood where he resided until his retirement in 1992.  In Highwood he worked for Ritacca Construction Co., The Hotel Moraine and Shrimp Walk. Soledad's passion was cooking, he would always be found making dinner for his wife and children. He was a man of hard work ethic, he instilled this ethic into his children so they would have a foundation for success in life, this ethic has also been passed down to his grandchildren.  The family were members of Saint James Church, Highwood.

Beloved husband of the late Camila Guerrero. Loving father of the late Cecilia (late Filberto) Perez, Ester Guerrero, Martha Renteria, Francisco (Carmen) Guerrero, Virginia (Edward) Mendoza and Pepe Rios. Fond grandfather of 22, great grandfather of 16. Dear brother of Rafael Rios Centenos and the late Miguel, Vicente, Felipe and Gonzala Rios Centenos.

Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 1, 2022 1:00 P.M. at Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Rev. Hernan Cuevas, celebrant. Interment was in Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico.
