Lilli Edith (Heider) Taraschewsky

Lilli Edith Taraschewsky nee: Heider,  85, of Lake Zurich and formerly of Lincolnwood, IL, passed away surrounded by her daughters, Thursday, June 10, 2021. She was born December 1, 1935 in Obory, Poland, and immigrated to the US when she was 18. She married her husband Gerhard Taraschewsky in September of 1960. 

Lilli is survived by her daughters; Monika (Thomas Zagorski) Taraschewsky of Deer Park, IL, Ingrid (Joseph) Frankian of Palatine, IL, and Erika (John) Matthei of Gurnee, IL, her grandchildren; Connor Frankian, Waverly (Nicholas) Moore, Olivia Frankian, Isabel Matthei, Derek Matthei, Lily Frankian, and Katerina Taraschewsky, her brothers; Edmund (Elisabeth) Heider of Phoenix AZ, and Erwin (Maria) Heider of Hendrickson, NV, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, preceded in death by her husband Gerhard Taraschewsky, her parents; Leonard and Regina Heider.

A memorial gathering will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2021 until time of memorial services at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 29700 N. St Mary's Rd. Libertyville, IL 60048,  Rev. Dr. Robert Davis, interment will be held privately. We ask attendees to please wear floral or pastel to commemorate our mother’s love of gardening and celebrate her life.
