Jose Luis Agustin Tovar

Jose Luis Agustin Tovar, 63 of Round Lake Park, IL passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Condell Medical Center of Libertyville, IL, he was born May 18, 1958 in Cotiro, Michawacon, Mexico and was the youngest of nine children born to the union of Evasto & Adalverta Tovar, Jose immigrated to the United States in 1970 and has worked for Barreca Blacktop & Sealcoating as a supervisor for over 30 years.
Jose is survived by his wife of 42 years Mariela Paz Velgara Tovar of Round Lake Park, his son; Luis ( Ann Laura) Tovar of Round Lake Park, and Victor Tovar Sr. of Round Lake Park, his ten grandchildren; Angelyna, Victor Jr., Anthony, Elizabeth, Amaya, Desiree, Matteo, Ayden, Liliana, Christian, Luan, and Angel his brothers; Leoviguildo (Estela) Tovar of Mexico, and Pedro (Jucna) Tovar of Mexico, his sister; Guillermina (Odilon) Tellez of Mexico, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, preceded in death by his parents and two sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030, funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 114 Lincoln Ave, Round Lake, IL 60073 interment to follow at the Grant Cemetery, W. Molidor Rd.
