Jose Antonio Marban

Jose Antonio Marban, age 57 of Highland Park passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at his home. Born July 17, 1963 in Huitzuco, Gro., Mexicoto the union of Vicente and Berta (Lopez) Marban. He immigrated to the United States in 1981 to California and then to Highland Park. In Highland Park he met his future wife Carmen Gonzalez and the couple were married in Huitzuco, Gro., Mexico  on May 3, 1993 and they returned to Highland Park and started a family. He worked for 34 years for the Highland Park Park District for the golf courses and then in park maintenance. He retired in April 2020. Jose enjoyed after a long days work gardening and working on his and his friends auto's which he found relaxing.  Jose was a very generous caring man, fun loving and friendly and was a close friend to his many co-workers.

Beloved son of Berta Marban and the late Vicente Marban of Huitzuco. Cherished husband of Carmen. Loving father of of Jose Antonio Marban, Jr. "Tony" of Northfield and Jessica Marban of Highland Park. Dear brother of Delfina Marban and Veronica Marban (Juan Aponte) both of Huitzuco fond uncle of 6.

Visitation Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service 11:00 A.M. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood.  Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery (Interment Chapel) 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois.
