Ioan Ciupuliga

Ioan Ciupuliga, age 64 of Niles, Illinois entered into eternal glory on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. He was born October 18, 1956 in Sofronea, Arad, Romania to the union of Sever and Elena (Blaho) Ciupuliga. He was educated in Romania and received a bachelors degree in engineering.  In 1990 he immigrated to the United States and shortly after he brought his wife and family to the United States.  He was a successful, self made businessman and the owner of Selected Floors in Niles. He served God faithfully as a presbyter and member of Logos Baptist Ministries, Niles.

Beloved husband for 40 years to Mariana nee: Maris. Loving father of Oana (Horia) Maier of Philadelphia, PA and Dan (Jessica) Ciupuliga of Park Ridge. Devoted grandfather of Chloe, Olivia, Kate, and Jane Maier and Levi Ciupuliga and the late Henry Maier. Cherished son of Elena Ciupuliga of Sofronea, Romania. Dear brother of Dorin (Lidia) Ciupuliga of Sofronea, Romania. Devoted son-in-law of Stefan Maris of Niles and brother-in-law of Peter (Gena) Maris.

Visitation Thursday, November 12, 2020 6:00 P.M. until time of funeral service 7:00 P.M. at Logos Baptist Ministries, 7280 North Caldwell Avenue, Niles, IL Rev. Daniel Chiu, officiating. Graveside service on Friday, November 13, 2020 10:00 A.M. at Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, Illinois.
