Ida Bernardi

Ida Bernardi, age 90 of Lake Forest passed away peacefully at home Saturday, May 27, 2023. Born in Waukegan, Illinois to the union of Arthur and Rina (Nardini) Amidei.

She built and owned Bernardi Auto Service Center, since 1965 where she worked as secretary for over 52 years.

Beloved mother of Robert (Susan) Bernardi of Highwood, Raymond Bernardi of Highland Park and Linda Bernardi (Jeff Timm) of Vernon Hills.  Fond Nonna of Alyssa Bernardi and Lara (Kyle) Fiocchi, Geno Bernardi and Marco (Julia) Bernardi and Lucas Bernardi. Great Nonna of Willow and Micaela Fiocchi. Dear sister of the late Henry Amidei.

Visitation Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood to Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood mass 10:00 AM Rev. James Merold, celebrant.  Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
