Hui "Helen" Xie

Hui “Helen” Xie, 62, of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born August 27, 1958 in Beijing, China and immigrated to the United States in 1987.  Helen attended Mankato State University in Minnesota where she received her Masters Degree.  After several years she went on to work for Abbott Labs for over 19 years.

Helen is survived by her husband of 29 years Jian “Jack” Zhao of Grayslake, IL, her mother; Bin Zhang of Beijing, China, daughter; Kelly Zhao of Grayslake, IL, son; Jerry Zhao of San Francisco, CA, brother; Pin Xie of Shenzhen, China, and her sister; Min Xie of Plano, TX, and many nieces and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her father Lu Xie.
