Grace Lucente, age 91 of Highwood passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 30, 1930 in Valanzano, Bari, Italy to the union of Vito and Angela (Caringella) Lomoro. She immigrated to Highwood, Illinois in 1947. On June 11, 1949 at Saint James Church she married Joseph Michael Lucente. Grace was a devoted wife and mother who kept her family as the center of her life.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael Lucente on March 1, 1989. Loving mother of Joanne (Ernest) Schalk of Vernon Hills and Rocco Lucente of Mundelein. Dear sister of Laura (Alfonso) Zanni of Highland Park. Fond aunt of Carlo (Nancy) Zanni of Pennsylvania, Vito (Joanne) Zanni of Lake Forest, Maryanne (Bob) Lucarz of Bensenville and Mary Jo (Steve) Nitsch of Melvin, Michigan.

Visitation Wednesday, March 30, 2022 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A/M/ until time of mass 11:00 A.M. at Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Rev. JoAndre Beltran, celebrant. Entombment following at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
