Fortina Flores Pedroza

Fortina Flores Pedroza, 93, of Round Lake Park, IL passed away suddenly April 27, 2021, she was born October 15, 1927 in Chiltepec, Edo, Mexico, and was the second child of eight children born to the union of Raymundo and Juana Flores, she immigrate to the United States after the passing of her husband of 53 years Alfonso Carbajal. She was a very charismatic and loving person who’s contagious smile would warm other hearts. Your smile and voice will forever be imprinted in our minds.

Fortina survived by her 13 children; Aurora (Javier) Perez of Woodstock, IL, Margarita (Jesus) Ayala of Round Lake, IL, Guadalupe (Maximino) Castañeda of Chiltepec, Mexico, Catalina (Antionio) Valdez of Hammonton, NJ, Belem (Alfonso) Dominiguez of Chiltepec, Mexico, Estela Carbajal of Round Lake, IL, Alfonso (Cecila) Carbajal of Corning, CA, Christina (Roberto) Ortiz of Round Lake, IL, Ricardo (Anna) Carbajal of Corning, CA, Jose (Lucia) Carbajal of Stockton, CA, Fortina (Jorge) Estrada of Round Lake, IL, Juana (Froilan) Flores of Round Lake, IL, Carmela (Pablo) of Bernal  Vineland, NJ,  her 45 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, her brother and sisters; Abundio Flores Pedroza, Arturo Flores Pedroza, Elpidio Flores Pedroza, Elvira Flores Pedroza, Fidel Flores Pedroza, Isabel Flores Pedroza, Sicilia Flores Pedroza, Cristiana Flores Pedroza. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030, funeral mass of the resurrection will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 114 Lincoln Ave., Round Lake, IL, interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL, for additional information please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080.
