Carl Alexander January Sr, father, and Carl (C.J.) Alexander January Jr, son, left this world together, unexpectedly and entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 2, 2022. Carl, Sr was 58 and Carl, Jr was 37, taken from us just two days before his 38th birthday. 
 
Carl A. January, Sr was born in Waukegan, IL on April 29, 1964 to Charles January, Sr and Debra January-Hilliard-Dunklin. Carl grew up in Waukegan and North Chicago, IL area, where he attended Central Elementary, Neal Jr High School and North Chicago Community High School while attending College of Lake County (CLC) in Grayslake IL.
 
Carl graduated from High School and entered the US Navy as a Fireman, upon leaving the military ­­­he went on to receive his certification in electrical wiring; his Master Mechanic Automotive Service Excellence (ASE); Bachelor Degree, Welding Technology; Associate Degree Accounting; and Associate Degree Automotive Technology.
 
Carl, Sr is survived by his son Jermaine Hayes; daughters, Nicole Landry, Natasha (Andy) Kreuser and Carmen January.
 
Grand children 
Nathaniel Hayes, Timothy Landry, Jr, Ariana Hayes, Taejia Landry, Julius Hayes, Alanis Negroni, Trinity Landry, Nataliah Adams, Teigan Kreuser, Tinsley Kreuser.
