Adelina (Mordini) Bernardi

Adelina Bernardi, age 92 of Highwood passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her home. She was born February 25, 1928 in Pievepelago, Modena, Italy to the union of Giuseppi and Madalena (Benassi) Mordini.  In August of 1964 she married Domenico Bernardi at Our Lady of Monticello Church in Modena and then the couple moved to the United States.  Adelina was a seamstress by trade and was a member of Saint James Church, Highwood.

Beloved wife of the late Domenico on December 7, 1997. Loving mother of Rita (Tony) Agostinelli. Fond nonna of Nicholas and Natalie Agostinelli.  Dear sister of Guido (late Maria Teresa) Mordini and the late Guido (late Maria) Mordini, late Gina Colo, late Rita (late Giuseppe) Pasquesi, late. Domenico (late Giovanni) Ugolini and the latte Santina (late Unberto) Mordini. Dear sister-in-law of Aldina (late Battista) Minorini and the late Gino and late Joe Bernardi.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM to celebrate the mass of Christian burial at Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Rev. JoAndre Beltran, celebrant.  Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois.
